On September 4, actress Lori Petty pleaded non contest to charges of misdemeanor driving under the influence and was sentenced to five years probation.
The 45-year-old actress issued a written statement afterward “sincerely” apologizing and promising it would be the last time she would be arrested for the charge.
On May 30, Petty was arrested after a skateboarder was struck by a vehicle in the Venice Beach, California area, according to authorities.
Petty has starred in such films as Point Break, Tank Girl, and A League of Their Own.
