Various media sources are reporting that legendary
Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney Bob Horan is seriously considering retiring. There is speculation that he is waiting to announce his decision until right at the filing deadline to keep other potential candidates from challenging his choice to succeed him, long-time chief deputy, and worthy successor, Ray Morrogh. Bob Battle had the pleasure to work for Horan and work with and for Morrogh as a Fairfax County prosecutor from 1986 to 1990.
