Police arrested a man from Holland, Massachusetts for driving under the influence on a snowmobile after an alleged crash which took the life of a female passenger.

Massachusetts State Police say 37-year-old Chris Corriveau was operating a 2002 Polaris snowmobile on a trail in Wales, Massachusetts when it veered off the path into a patch of rocks.

According to state police, 36-year-old East Brookfield, Massachusetts resident Lori Mosher was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police charged Corriveau with motor vehicle homicide, DUI, and unsafe operation.
