Craig County Sheriff Clifford Davidson reminds the citizens of Craig County that even though National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month is over, they should still heed advice on not drinking and driving. Craig County has some staggering statistics where driving under the influence charges are concerned. In 2005 the Craig County Sheriff’s Department made 25 DUI arrests. By the end of 2006, deputies had made 16 DUI arrests in Craig County. “Considering the size of this county’s population, those numbers are alarming,” Davidson said.
