Citations for driving under the influence are handed out by police all the time. However, police in Newark, New Jersey recently encountered a first.

Kile Wygle was charged with OVI by police while he was on a motorized barstool.

According to the incident’s police report, Wygle admitted to having consumed “more like 15” beers the day before crashing the barstool on over-drive.

Wygle was cited for the incident because operation of any type of motorized vehicle while under the influence is prohibited by law.

Wygle says he has no plans of driving the infamous barstool again.

Sounds like the cops in that town are getting pretty desperate to make DUI arrests.
