Daniel Dae Kim, one of the stars of the hit TV show “Lost,” pleaded no contest to charges of driving under the influence and has been ordered to pay a $500 fine.

On October 25, Kim, who plays the character Jin-Soo Kwon, was arrested after he was spotted by a police officer in Honolulu, Hawaii driving erratically. His blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.168, over twice the legal limit of 0.08.

Kim’s driver’s license was also revoked for six months and he was subjected to a drug-and-alcohol assessment. He has also been ordered to pay $212 and serve 72 hours of community service.

Kim is the third actor from the popular ABC drama to be arrested for DUI in Hawaii. The other two resulted in the offenders’ characters being killed off on the show not long afterward. In 2005, the roles of actresses Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were eliminated after each pleaded guilty to DUI charges.
